Quick recipes – make the most of modern technology

The tendency towards adopting new technologies has grown in the past few months. Even, previously ludite friends of mine brandish their iPhone’s at every possible opportunity. There are also a number of technological advances that have gone under the radar – those technologies that exist under the surface to make our lives easier.

This got me thinking about the use of technology in the kitchen. I don’t spend a lot of time cooking, but I like good food. Quick recipes don’t have to be tasteless and bland. Most of us are familiar with microwave cooking but there are many small changes in kitchen technology that have made preparing tasty meals a breeze.

Combining technologies for food preparation is the next step, and with iPhone apps available to improve your culinary skills it wont be long before technology does it all for us!
